Role:Stock Control Admin
Salary:£20,000 - £22,000

Our client is well established and respected in the textile sector supplying major retailers throughout the UK designing and importing goods from the Far East.


We need to find them a new Stock Control Administrator and if you like stock, purchasing and Excel – this a great job in a great team.


You must be an advanced Excel user – Pivot Tables and VLookups will hold no mysteries for you! 


You will also have some stock experience, ideally in an FMCG company and understand the demands of a busy wholesale company.


You will report to the Stock Control Manager and be a really good support to her and her Stock Controllers.


So what will your role be on the team?


Raising Factory Purchase orders and sending them

Ensuring shipment dates are maintained

Liaise with the factory on a monthly basis

Combine the delivery Schedule of all the Stock controllers.  From this list:

  • Chase factory to ensure they have made a booking with SEKO in a timely manner.
  • Chase factories for packing List and invoices.
  • Checking the packing list against PO qty to ensure the goods have shipped in full.
  • If they have not shipped in full – actively chase the factory for an update.
  • Ensure any problems are escalated to the agents
  • Provide the sourcing team with a list of priority orders.
  • Liaising with the sourcing team when factory information is required.

Update month end Sales by Design reports.

Update when lines need to set to obsolete.

Sending/Maintaining Customer stock feeds

Updating Cumulative Sales reports

Updating Amazon best sellers – weekly  

Monthly updating customer order forms and price lists



It’s a busy job and there will be lots to learn – you will get good training and support.

And in time there is the chance of career progression – that’s how this role became open!
