Our client is a major player in the wholesale beauty sector – well established and a company that grows year on year.  They have established a new cosmetics and branded perfume division to capitalise on the growth of their Brands and as a result have some exciting opportunities.

 

The Trade Marketing Executive will create, implement and drive the UK Marketing Strategy in line with Global guidelines for all brands distributed in the UK.  Key areas covered – product and trade marketing to increase brand awareness, drive footfall, create engagement and drive sales.

 

PLEASE NOTE FOR THIS ROLE YOUR EXPERIENCE MUST COVER THE FOLLOWING SECTORS:

COSMETICS AND/OR FRAGRANCE AND/OR SKINCARE

 

Your role function will cover 5 main areas:

 

UK Marketing Strategy

Delivering a strong marketing plan for all Brands sold through UK Retailers

Major marketing plans with unique 360 campaigns

Liaison with retailers to secure opportunities and coordinating initiatives to deliver sales

Communicating new product launches (there’s a major one this year)

Work with brands’ marketing teams on brand updates

Build and develop relationships with retailers

Compile market reports for Brand owners

Product/campaign launch reviews

Consistency of brands’ style and core values across all marketing activities and materials

 

Trade/retail

Trade marketing initiatives – ensure effective communication between retailers and the internal team

Promote marketing plans internally

Assist with net sales management by way of monitoring products availability, monitoring shipments, etc.

Being a partner to the Sales Team to equip them with the sales tools to successfully manage retailers’ stores sell through

Supply retail deliverables (nlfs, copy, visuals)

Presentation launches both internally and externally

 

Education:

Develop support materials and training plans that align with brand objectives

 

Budget:

Monitoring expenditure by activity in line with budget

Ensure adequate stock coverage for all products by forecasting accuracy and quota management – working closely with the Demand Planner

Work with Head of Marketing to ensure all activities are carried out within Budget parameters

 

 

What will you bring to the role:

Experience of make-up and/or fragrance and/or skin marketing

Strong Retail and Trade Marketing experience

Understanding of major UK Retailers

Strategic, operational customer centric marketing knowledge
