International Account Manager FMCG

Location: Trafford Park

Salary: £40-50K OTE £70K plus

Do you have good worldwide relationships with major retailers and wholesalers?

We are looking for an International Account Manager with flair and true relationship building experience who knows and understands the major retailers – my client sells worldwide so we are interested to know where and who you sell to worldwide.

You will be used to working in a fast moving environment and pride yourself on your sales and relationship building experience.  In short, you will be one of the best in this sector!

My client is one of the most successful companies in the wholesale health and beauty sector established over 30 years and always growing and developing both their business and their people.

Your role will be:

As a successful International Account Manager, you will be responsible for the full portfolio of products across several well-known existing retail, wholesale and trading partners.

You will be expected to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver profitable growth within your account base, whilst delivering new opportunities.

You will have:

Experience of managing major retailers and having the ability to network with all departments

Strong trading experience and capable of spotting new opportunities

Become an expert of the account and the market we operate in

Excellent sales, negotiation, planning and organisational skills

Business acumen and commercial awareness

Strong IT and numeracy skills with the ability to manage and process data

Excellent verbal and written communication.

You will deliver:

Deliver on forecasted budgets & other targets for both existing accounts and new business

Lead development and negotiate with retail partners

Ensuring tenders, pricing and ranges are delivered in full and on time.

Work closely with your buying and merchandising teams to forecast supply volume.
