Merchandiser/Stock Controller

Are you a Stock Controller who has retail or wholesale experience and has  a passion for Forecasting and good Critical Path experience?

Or a Merchandiser who naturally understands Critical Path and has a passion for Stock and Forecasting?

They are well established and respected in the textile sector supplying major retailers throughout the UK designing and importing goods from the Far East and 2023 sees several new own range launches.

We are looking for someone with experience in trend and forecast analysis within a retail or wholesale environment. Ability to interpret information & make decisions to maximise sales and stock efficiency.

So what do we want YOU to be?

You could be a Stock Controller ready for a new challenge in a great company or a Merchandiser who loves stock and forecasting.

You will have good experience of forecasting being used to working 6 months in advance – at least.

Ownership of your own product category

Understand critical path and have good working knowledge of Far East relationships from design and samples to production and shipping.

Accuracy and attention to detail will be a way of life for you.

You will have a commercial approach to work backed by an analytical mind.

There will be nothing you don’t know about Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, If Functions and SUMIF

Able to bring your talents and enthusiasm every day to the role.

You will be responsible for:

Forward Planning Stocks for All Customers – critical path knowledge is essential

New Lines – working closely with Product Team

Reports – Monthly, Weekly and On Demand
