Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Trafford Park

Salary: £20-23K

Our client is a wholesaler in the Beauty Sector and has a strong financial team that offers a good career path.

They need an additional team member for their Purchase Ledger Team – it’s busy and this person will be a welcome addition to the team and handling the work load.  

The Finance Team supports all the Group companies so you will work across all the Group companies and with people from many different departments across the Head Offices.

So you will pride yourself on your ability to build relationships and work accurately across many varied accounts.

Day to Day your role will be:

  • Reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger.
  • Prepare monthly and interim payment runs via Bacs and other automated systems.
  • File Invoices.
  • Purchase ledger maintenance.
  • Assist with the information flow between departments.
  • Fully supportive in helping resolve supplier queries.
  • Ensure all administrative duties are completed on time.
  • Have a good relationship with suppliers and help ensure supplier expectations are achieve

What you will bring to the Role and the Company:

  • Over 3yrs Purchase Ledger experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Polite and helpful.
  • Organised and methodical with goods levels of attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills
  • Ideally, experience using Navision
  • Adaptable to new systems & change
