RTA EL/PL Fee Earner

Location: Old Traffford

Salary: £40-45K

My client is a successful niche Legal Practice based in Manchester and with success comes growth and their RTA/ELPL Team needs another team member to be a part of their success.

Who are we looking for?

Obviously, you will be an experienced RTA Fee Earner able to manage pre and post litigated files – a naturally confident in all aspects of litigations- a true negotiator. EL/PL experience is preferred but a desire to learn will be considered.

Your role will be:

  • Undertake discussions and negotiations with Insured, Insurer and Third-Party Solicitors to pursue the rapid and appropriate settlement of cases and the apportionment of costs
  • Review liability, damages, and evidence
  • Assess liability disputes and issue Court proceedings as appropriate
  • Undertake Court Telephone Hearings to ensure progress is maximised and all actions have been undertaken to bring the case to settlement
  • Progress cases from inception to conclusion
  • Prepare Court Bundles and brief Counsel where necessary
  • Efficiently use Proclaim case management system
